Fax To Email Service

AirComUSA's fax to email service transforms your email account into a fax machine. The faxes sent to your fax number will come as an email attachment to your personal email address. The email attachment arrives as a .tiff or .PDF file. This is a standard file type that can be viewed without downloading any special viewing software.

After you receive a fax email in your email account, the fax can be opened and viewed effortlessly with any image and fax viewer that comes with Windows. Most viewers are capable of viewing multiple page documents, and also give you the ability to edit the document.

Receiving a fax in your email through AirComUSA is easy. When you register, we will assign you a fax number. Depending on your preference, you can receive a toll free fax number, a toll number (only with 801 and 435 prefixes is available), or a combination of toll free and toll numbers.

When someone sends you a fax on one of your AirComUSA fax numbers, our fax to email service converts the faxed pages to .tif or .pdf files, attaches them to an email, and sends that email to the email address you provided when you registered.

To view the faxed documents, open the email by double clicking on the email in your In box.

Double click on the .tif or .pdf files. Unless you have configured your PC differently, they will automatically open in Kodak Imaging© or Adobe© Acrobat©. After you are finished with one attachment, click the in the upper right hand corner, and repeat the process with the next attachment.

To close the email, click the in the upper right hand corner of the email.

AirComUSA's automated fax to email Service will receive all your faxes on a toll or toll free number and auto-convert them to a .tiff/.tif or .pdf file (which the default Windows viewer can open) and send them to your email or multiple email addresses. A copy of each fax is also stored in your AirComUSA account for 10 days. They can be accessed and re-delivered from any phone. Applications include order entry faxes that can be rotated to multiple email accounts, and privacy (sensitive information is not delivered to public fax machines). Delivery to multiple locations ie: order entry, accounting, and management all simultaneously get a copy. Your customer never gets a busy signal and has to wait or retry sending a fax. Savings are generated by reduced phone line infrastructure. Toner cartridges, fax machine usage, paper consumption and secretarial labor is reduced and eliminated in some cases.

Fax To Email Service Pricing

AirComUSA's fax to email service pricing structure is a little different than most of our competitors. Our most basic account is $8.95 a month. Plus there is a $0.10 a minute toll-free usage fee. This averages out to be about 3 to 7 cents per page. The average one page fax takes 30 - 35 seconds to be transmitted. With our per minute model you will only be charged for the time used on our system, and it will usually be cheaper than the per page model that other fax to email service companies use.
