Why do we charge per minute? Its simple. It saves you money! Companies that charge by the page are making extra money on your faxes.
The average incoming fax page takes approximately 30 seconds to be received. If you are charged by the page, then your provider has over-charged you for 30 seconds of usage that you did not utilize. At AirComUSA you would have been charged for only the first 30 seconds it took to get the page to come in or send out.
Our competitors will charge (its in their fine print) for multiple pages if your one page fax takes longer than one minute to come in. So, if your incoming page takes longer than one minute to come in, then you will be charged for multiple pages. In this scenario, you as the consumer never win.
AirComUSA charges per minute. You only pay for the time that it takes to send or receive your faxes. Nothing more. In fact, to make it even better, we bill in 6-second increments, to minimize the time you are billed for. This means that the average received page that takes 30 seconds to come in only costs you 5 cents. Instead of being charged 10-20 cents per page at other companies, AirComUSA charges you only for what you use. This alone saves our customers who switch to our services 30-70% on their previous bills with their previous providers.
For Example: If you send or receive a 5-page fax that takes 150 seconds (2.5 minutes) then that fax would cost you $.25 with AirComUSA. With our competitors that same fax will cost $.50 - $1.00.
