System time is the actual phone time it takes to transmit faxes. AirComUSA charges 10 cents per minute for usage time, broken down into 6 second increments. This saves our customers substantially over our competitors who charge by the page. Our Virtual Fax $8.95 a month package is the only package that we offer that allows you to pay for system time as it is used.
This package has an $8.95 monthly fee for the fax number and upkeep of the account. System time is then pre-purchased in 2 hour blocks, or $12.00 charges. This pre-paid time is used up as you send and recieve faxes. Once it is depleted, whether it takes 1 week or 6 months, our system will charge another 2 hour block of system time with your credit card.
These 2 hour blocks do not expire or get reset at the end of the month. Instead the time rolls over from month to month, and you keep the time until you have used up the total 2 hours. This package is very convenient for people who send and receive faxes infrequently, due to the fact that the minutes you have purchased roll over to the next month if not used.
